In this article with poker tricks we do not mean the prestige tricks with poker cards or chips but methods and strategies, legitimate of course, to win at online poker, although in reality many of the tips you will read here they are equally valid for live poker.

What probably many will have done without even thinking about it too much. Basically it is about communicating with a friend sitting at the same table and telling each other what cards you have, of course not with the public chat of the poker room but via Skype, Whatsapp, Facebook or other similar services.

Dumping. Unlike signaling where it is difficult to catch the two, here it is easier to discover them because practically a player, perhaps in particular phases of a tournament, decides to lose all or part of his stack to his friend to form a single, more competitive stack.

Even this form of scam is not very discreet because it involves creating a lot of fictitious action to discourage other players from entering the pot.
Softplay
Here it is about, always playing with a friend at the table, to be friendly with each other and not play against each other.
As you may have understood these few tricks for online poker (which you can also read about here) are not very effective first of all because they do not guarantee absolutely no winnings, and secondly because they are unethical as well as easily unmasked.
